Kaani Village & Spa

Property was very peaceful, there weren’t a lot of people so we had a lot of privacy, the pool is great and its available until 7:30 PM so it was nice. There is a billiard table and nice relaxing area to read too. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Property is also very responsive to messages which we really appreciated. This was the only family room available at that time so we booked it. We liked that its big enough to accommodate 3 adults and 1 kid but compared to the rest of the Kaani properties this one is probably the only one that didnt have a nice view since its not near the beach. Still worth the price.

Accommodation was simply furnished, but clean. The beds were very good. We had breakfast and dinner in the main building, which was about 100m away from our accommodation, but we had no problem with that. Breakfast and dinner were good, a choice of several dishes. The staff was nice, especially the guys at the main reception were welcoming and always willing to help.

We booked rooms in Kaani Village & spa but given accommodation in Kaani palm beach hotel which was a new property with excellent rooms

I cannot rate the Kaani Village and Spa, because it was not operational when I arrived on Maafushi. My wife and I were instead relocated to the Kaani Palm Beach hotel, so my review is for that facility. The staff at the Kaani Palm Beach were very courteous and helpful, and we would like to recognize Ms. Cherry (Guest Relations Officer), Sarkar (Room Service), and Karim (Waiter, hotel restaurant), for their professionalism, helpfulness, excellent service, and outstanding friendliness while addressing our concerns, or merely greeting us each day. The candlelight dinner on the beach during our final night was terrific!

Very clean, friendly n smile staff, happy n comfortable stay, looking forward to seeing you again soon.
